Mission of Bethel School of the Arts
The mission of Bethel School of the Arts is to provide a Christ-centered environment for children and adults to be physically active, achieve excellence, express creativity, inspire passion and confidence, and encourage spiritual growth.
Bethel Church’s DREAM is five-fold:
- Demonstrate Reconciliation
- Reshape the Future
- Experience Life
- Activate Hope
- Multiply Influence
Bethel School of the Arts helps accomplish the DREAM in many ways.
Our DREAM is to Demonstrating Reconciliation. We want to be the first to reach our hand across any divide. BSA is a place where students of all ages, shapes, sizes, economic status, and race come together to learn, create, and grow as artists.
Our DREAM is to Reshape the Future. BSA is honored to have personal contact and influence in the lives of each student on a weekly basis. We know some of the most life-shaping influences come from teachers; Therefore, our instructors are committed to setting Godly examples for the students through life-giving words, actions, and encouragement.
Our DREAM is for the students to Experience Life through meaningful relationships. BSA encourages each student to build strong, energizing relationships with their peers and instructors through effective communication, social activities, and performance opportunities that promote team-work.
Our DREAM is to Activate Hope. BSA knows the Arts is a communication language all of its own. We want our art, whether it be dance, tumbling, music, voice, or drama to communicate hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
Our DREAM is to Multiply Influence. We don’t want the BSA experience to stop with the student. It is our prayer that the training the students receive, the lessons they learn, the inspired feeling they have when they attend their class or perform, will be something they are able to give away to others for many years to come.
